I know there have been a whole lot of photos put up on the Net relating to the aftermath of Hurricane Wilma and its affect on Cozumel. But this Photo Gallery is not about the damage, the suffering or the economic setbacks. This Photo Gallery is about Recovery.
Cozumel is my home and has been for almost 20 years now. I do not want to show Cozumel in a bad light. I want the world to see Cozumel as the strong, vibrant place that it truly is.
All these photos were taken the week of November 14 - the week that Cozumel officially re-opened to receive the cruise ships and to welcome tourists back to the island.
